How we use AI

Storybook Studio makes personalized books with AI. When you upload a photo, our system generates the characters, the story text and the illustrations. In the main photo-to-storybook flow, a customer can see the cover and the first illustrated pages before paying. In the potty-training book and Tinkle & Toot, the customer sees the child's illustrated cover before paying, and the rest is illustrated after checkout. In the other occasion books, the book is created after checkout. A printed book is made only from the proof the customer approves.

Story text is written with OpenAI. Character likenesses, covers, and page illustrations are generated with OpenAI image models. We also use fal.ai for supporting image work such as print-resolution upscaling. We do not sell photos or use them to train our own models. A landing-page photo expires after 24 hours if it is not saved to an account. Digital books are one-time purchases; printed copies are optional and priced on the pricing page. See the privacy policy.

Each Journal article is drafted by AI. Each draft is written to a brief that names the sources it may rely on, and before it is published, a separate verification step checks every claim against its cited source and checks that any statement about our product matches our live pricing and policy pages. We label claims we cannot support as general guidance or remove them.

Journal articles are not reviewed by a named human reviewer. Articles about health topics, such as nighttime dryness or constipation, are general information, not medical advice; talk to your pediatrician about your child. If you see something wrong, email support@storybookstudio.io and we will correct it.
