Support & frequently asked questions

Need help with a story, payment, PDF, proof, or print order? Email support@storybookstudio.io.

Are my photos private?

Yes. Photos are stored privately and displayed through time-limited links. We use them only to provide the features you request, do not sell them, and do not use them for advertising.

Do you use my photos to train AI?

Storybook Studio does not use customer photos to train its own models. Selected inputs are sent to AI providers to fulfill your generation request, and provider retention and safety controls may apply.

Who can upload photos of a child?

Only an adult who has the legal right and appropriate permission to use the child’s photo and personal information. Storybook Studio is not intended for children to use directly.

What photos are prohibited?

Do not upload sexual, exploitative, abusive, violent, hateful, harassing, unlawful, infringing, or non-consensual imagery. Never upload sexual or exploitative content involving a minor.

How long is an anonymous photo kept?

A landing-page photo that is not attached to an account expires after 24 hours. Account book assets remain until you delete the eligible book, character, or account, subject to limited operational and legal retention.

Can I delete a book or character?

Yes, eligible books and reusable characters can be deleted from your account. Books tied to paid print orders may need to be retained as transaction records, but you can contact support for help.

Who processes payments?

Stripe processes card payments. Storybook Studio does not store your complete payment-card number.

Why might an image request fail?

An upload can fail because of file size, an unsupported format, a temporary provider issue, or a provider safety restriction. Try a clear JPG, PNG, or WebP photo, then contact support if it continues.

How do I report a safety or security concern?

For content safety, email safety@storybookstudio.io without attaching suspected illegal imagery. For vulnerabilities, email security@storybookstudio.io.

How do I get help with a book or order?

Email support@storybookstudio.io with the book title and a short description. Do not send payment-card details or attach sensitive photos unless support specifically requests a secure upload.
