Effective August 2, 2026. These terms govern your use of Storybook Studio. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy and Content Policy.
Who may use Storybook Studio
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. Adults may create books involving children only when they have the legal right and appropriate permission to use the photos, names, stories, and other material they provide.
Your photos and stories
You keep ownership of the content you upload. You give Storybook Studio a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transform, and share that content with the service providers needed to create, store, deliver, print, and support the products you request. This license is only for operating the service and ends when the content is deleted, subject to limited backup, fraud-prevention, legal, and transaction-record retention.
You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions for every upload. Do not upload content that is unlawful, exploitative, sexually explicit, violent, harassing, hateful, invasive of privacy, infringing, or otherwise prohibited by our Content Policy. Never upload sexual or exploitative content involving a minor.
Generated content
AI-generated words and illustrations may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or unexpected. You are responsible for reviewing the book before sharing, downloading, or ordering it. Storybook Studio may refuse or remove content, suspend generation, or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to protect people, comply with law, or enforce these terms.
Purchases and printing
A $15 digital-book purchase is a one-time purchase and does not include a printed copy. Printed keepsakes are separate purchases. The complete product price, shipping, and applicable tax are shown before payment. Our Refunds & Reprints Policy explains remedies for eligible order issues.
Some template products are sold as a printed-book bundle that includes a downloadable PDF. For those products, no AI generation begins until Stripe confirms payment, an account is created passwordlessly for the checkout email, and printing remains blocked until proof approval. Approve it or get your money back. If you request a refund before approving the final proof, we’ll refund everything except the $5 creation fee once paid generation has begun. If generation never begins, the full amount is refunded. After proof approval, documented print or shipping issues are handled under our Refunds & Reprints Policy.
Accounts and service availability
Keep your login credentials secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not probe, disrupt, automate abuse of, reverse engineer, or bypass limits or security controls in the service. Features may change, and temporary interruptions can occur.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that generated content will be error-free or that every request will complete. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Storybook Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
