A Christmas Eve story with your child in it

Want a Christmas Eve read-aloud with your child in the pictures? This personalized holiday story is built for December 24, using your photo and the people you add. It is not the classic poem. It is an original tale, and the closing pages shown here are a family coming home from a workshop, not a visit from St. Nicholas.

Story excerpt

On Christmas Eve, Oliver opened the last little door in his wooden calendar. Behind it was a hallway. A very long hallway. ‘Mom? Dad? Come and look!’ The doorway stretched. The hallway sparkled. Mom took one of Oliver’s hands, and Dad took the other. Together, they stepped into the Christmas Workshop.

These pages come from a made-up family. The book you make uses your names, photos, and the details you share, and its story is written fresh.

Who it's for

Choose this when the plan is a short December 24 read at bedtime, not a recitation of the famous poem. Storybook Studio does not sell a personalized edition of that public-domain verse. Saying so plainly keeps the gift honest.

The spreads shown are the glowing calendar on Christmas Eve, the walk back toward the red doorway, and the sofa under a blanket while snow passes the window. The child hangs a wooden star, then asks if tomorrow they might make something else. Those are Eve beats in a fictional workshop adventure.

A Christmas Eve box can hold the digital story the same day you finish it, if you are reading on a screen. A printed copy still follows the production time in the format section. The poem question and the shipping question are different decisions.

What gets personalized

Siblings can join the story when you add them with their own names and photos, up to four people in all. The pages shown here have one child with Mom and Dad.

You can mark the story as a familiar celebration or an imagined adventure, and you can exclude anything that would spoil a quiet Christmas Eve. Tell us in the notes what to leave out; we won't guess from a photo.

Format, price, and timing

December 24 is a bedtime, not a courier promise. If you want the story in a Christmas Eve box as a file, you are not waiting on a print batch. A bound copy still needs the production window and the transit speed on Pricing. No order-by line is printed here.

Questions

Is this the original Clement Moore poem?

No. It is an original Christmas story. The pages shown here follow one child through a workshop and home again. It does not reprint 'A Visit from St. Nicholas'.

Can I add siblings?

Yes, as named people with photos, while the cast stays between one and four characters. Each story centers on one child. The pages shown here do not include a brother or sister.

Is it a good Christmas Eve box gift?

The digital story is ready to read when generation finishes. A printed softcover or hardcover still needs production plus the shipping speed you pick, so order with the timing section in view.

Will a printed book arrive for Christmas?

Christmas order-by dates are published on the pricing page when they are visible there. Until then, use the production time in the format section below.
