Christmas gifts

A Christmas gift for your granddaughter, all about her

A Christmas story about your granddaughter is a gift that outlasts the toys. You build it from her photo and preview the proof before print. The pages shown here have a boy. Your book uses the name and photo you share, so it can be about a girl.

If she is three or four, see stocking stuffers for 3- and 4-year-olds.

Story excerpt

The new wheel fitted—but the fox leaned sideways. Oliver’s smile slipped. ‘Not quite,’ said Mom. ‘We can try another way.’ Oliver looked at the fox’s other wheels. He traced one with his finger. ‘We need one like these!’ Dad brought the little wheel basket closer.

These pages come from a made-up family. The book you make uses your names, photos, and the details you share, and its story is written fresh.

Who it's for

Grandparents buying for a girl use the same holiday story as every other Christmas guide here. The age range is 3 to 7. The example story is about a boy, and these pages were chosen so you can see the story without pretending that child is your granddaughter.

The spreads are the wheel that almost fits, the ribbon that floods the floor, and the family walking back through the red doorway with wooden stars. Mom, Dad, and one boy are the only people drawn. A granddaughter's book does not reuse those names.

Siblings can join if you still have room in the four-character cast. A brother in the story is a person you add. He is not in the pages shown here.

A nickname only you use can sit in the dedication. The ribbon that floods the floor and the walk back through the red doorway are the making-things beats shown here, not a scene of her opening presents.

What gets personalized

The dedication is free text. Many grandparents sign with their own names and a private sentence. It is optional. Leaving it blank does not block the book.

Her name in the link, if you added one, only changes the labels shown here. Starting the story does not carry that name over. You type it again when you make the story.

Format, price, and timing

If her present ships to her own address, the checkout address is what the carrier uses, and the transit estimate is on Pricing. The cards stay the book price. Nothing on this granddaughter guide names a last day to order.

Questions

Can I write a dedication?

Yes. This holiday flow has an optional dedication. The dedication shown here belongs to the example and is not copied into your book.

Can I include her siblings?

Yes, within the one-to-four character limit, each with a name and a clear photo. The story still centers on one child.

Does it ship to her address?

The printed copy ships to the address entered at checkout, in the countries listed with the prices. You approve the proof before that print starts.

Will a printed book arrive for Christmas?

Christmas order-by dates are published on the pricing page when they are visible there. Until then, use the production time in the format section below.
