Sibling gifts

A gift from the new baby to the big sibling

Some parents hand the older child a gift at the first meeting and say it is from the baby. A picture story about the older child can be that gift. These pages show a nursery night. Open the sibling story and select the gift-from-the-baby moment; a line from the newborn fits in its optional note.

Story excerpt

Milo stood tall in the soft nursery night And offered his sister a small star of light. With blanket-cape flying, he tiptoed with care, A guardian of dreams in the hush of the air.

These pages come from a made-up family. The book you make uses your names, photos, and the details you share, and its story is written fresh.

Who it's for

The older child can be a sister or a brother. The drawings show a brother. Your photo and name decide who the story is about. Buying two copies does not create a second set of pages about a girl; it creates two orders.

Give the digital story as soon as it is generated if the meeting is soon. A printed copy depends on production and shipping in the price section. Nothing here reserves a bassinet delivery slot.

The spreads are the offered star, the helper basket, and the big brother asleep by the bassinet while Dad watches. They suit a gift about the older child's job. They are not a card from an infant.

Hand it over at the bassinet so the older child is the one receiving something. The from-the-baby sentence belongs in the optional note. The printer does not add a gift tag.

What gets personalized

Put the from-the-baby sentence in the sibling story's optional note. That story has no dedication page. The sister guide and the brother guide start the same story, and each one says so.

Both children can be characters when you have photos and names and you stay within four people total. A baby without a clear photo can still be named. Likeness approval applies to people you submit photos for.

Format, price, and timing

The first meeting might be tomorrow. Take the digital book to that room if the file is approved. A printed 'from the baby' copy is only realistic after Pricing's production and transit. The cards are the totals, with no order-by date on this guide.

Questions

What should a gift from the baby be?

Something that makes the older child the subject. These pages do that with a big brother. Your order uses your names. It is not a toy and not a promise about behavior.

Can it arrive before the birth?

Only if you order the printed book early enough for the production time plus shipping shown below. The on-screen book does not wait on a printer.

Are there boy and girl versions?

The pages shown here are about a boy. Your order follows your own child's name and photo, and its wording can say sister, brother, or simply sibling. A second set of pages about a girl isn't something we offer yet.
