Story excerpt
Moon Station had a silver roof and a clock shaped like a biscuit. But the star stayed tucked in Ava’s scarf. Its light had gone very small. ‘Perhaps goodbyes feel big, even for stars,’ said Grandma. Ava sat beside her. They didn’t hurry. Grandpa sat close enough for Ava to lean against him.
These pages come from a made-up family. The book you make uses your names, photos, and the details you share, and its story is written fresh.
What to put with the book
The object can be a recipe card, a handkerchief, a smooth stone from a walk, or a shop print in a frame you already own. Wrap it with the Christmas gift. Do not buy a gadget to hold it.
The voice message stays on the phone. Open the phone's voice message tool, say the date and both names, ask one short question, and stop when the child tires. Copy the file to a computer the same day. The book does not store that voice message.
Add the child and the great-grandparent. The child has one photo. The great-grandparent has another. A group snapshot is not a substitute. Leave parents and other children out. A second great-grandparent can be in the book only with a second photo.
Pick the story: a train through the clouds, a closed submarine, a gentle dinosaur valley, a skyship between floating islands, or a forest of lanterns. Then choose a real memory you describe, or an imagined day. One optional detail is enough: a phrase, a snack, or a scarf.
A child under 3 is too young for this book. A child who is 8 is past it. The spreads here are a station clock shaped like a biscuit, a song while a scarf is tucked, and a small train back on the rug with a ticket turned over. Those pages are the grandparent adventure, not a workshop.
You approve the proof before anything is printed. Totals sit on the pricing page. Play the voice message at the table. It is never uploaded into the book.
What gets personalized
Bring a photo of the child and a photo of the great-grandparent. Write the memory if the day should follow something that really happened. Leave it blank and the story stays imagined.
Play the voice message while you sit with the child. Mention one loved phrase as the optional detail if you want those words in the book.
Format, price, and timing
A voice message on a phone is instant. Paper is not. The cards are the totals. If the wrapped copy must reach another house, read Pricing for press time and transit. You can read it on a screen once you approve the proof. This guide prints no order-by date.

Questions
Can a great-grandparent be in the book?
Yes. Add their photo and the name the child already says. The book is the child plus one or two great-grandparents. There is no separate Christmas book for only a great-grandparent.
Does the voice message go in the book?
No. Keep it on the phone. The book is pictures and words. One loved phrase can be the optional detail.
What if the child is under 3 or already 8?
Under 3 is too young for this book. At 8 the child is past it. The book stays at ages 3 to 7.
Will a printed book arrive for Christmas?
Christmas order-by dates are published on the pricing page when they are visible there. Until then, use the production time in the format section below.
