Customer stories across Storybook Studio

We just welcomed our first child, and in a few quick steps I was able to create a story starring our whole family. It couldn’t have been more intuitive. And after seeing how it turned out, I mean it when I say it: trust the process.

Tyler S. · Created Trust the Process

Making a book about me and my brothers was ridiculously easy—and seeing the three of us as the stars of our own story was even better. We couldn’t stop laughing at how good it came out.

Eric H. · Created Three brothers great adventure

My son-in-law made this for me about my two grandkids having a sleepover at Nana and Papa’s. I actually cried a little when I saw it.

Good to know

Is this only a Christmas book?+

No. Christmas is the complete sample shown here, not the only story you can make. Choose Hanukkah (Chanukah), Rosh Hashanah, Easter, Passover, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Diwali, or name another religious or cultural holiday. Tell us what your family observes and what it means to you.

Can our book be faith-centered?+

Yes. Choose Faith-centered and describe the beliefs, meaning and traditions you want included. Or choose Family traditions without added religious teaching, or describe your own mix. We do not infer your beliefs from names or photographs. Review the story and illustrations before printing; custom holidays are not a promise of specialist religious review.

Will you just change the names in Oliver’s story?+

No. Your selected holiday, traditions, people, setting and boundaries guide your story. Oliver’s magical Christmas workshop is one fictional example. You can choose a familiar, realistic celebration or an imagined adventure, and explicitly leave out things such as Santa, gift exchange or particular imagery.

What photos should I add?+

Start with a clear photo of the child, then add the family members or pets you want included, up to four characters total. A place photo is optional. Use photos you have permission to upload. Your private family photos and details are not published as marketing examples.

Can I choose the 3D character style?+

Yes. Oliver’s book uses the Storybook 3D illustration option available in onboarding. You can also choose any of the other eight offered styles. The style swatches are examples of each look, not alternate finished versions of Oliver’s book.

What will we receive?+

Choose a printed softcover or hardcover with a downloadable PDF included. Oliver’s complete sample uses an 8.5-inch square hardcover layout with 24 interior pages. Your own story and illustrations are created after checkout. You review the full proof before approving printing; shipping and tax are shown at checkout.

Will it arrive before our holiday?+

Allow time for creation, your proof review, printing and shipping. Check delivery estimates at checkout. We do not guarantee arrival by a holiday, and printing only starts after you approve the proof.

Are these photographs of a delivered book?+

No. Oliver and his family are fictional. Product and lifestyle scenes are AI-generated illustrative mockups, not customer photographs or a photographed manufactured proof. The Inside view and complete reader use this edition’s actual print-layout pages. Manufactured color, gloss, crop and binding can vary.
